The XX Factor: Why men are happier

  • Brad · 4 years ago
I still can't see the 'reason' for being 'happy', Karmically talking! Everything mentioned in this post is quite materialistic. Ain't it?
  • Valhalla · 4 years ago
Oh Yeah? You think we're happier creatures? Think again.. our destiny is inextricably intertwined with those not-so-simple-and-never-really-happy-creatures.. Women!
  • Apoorva Joshi · 4 years ago
    Valhalla: Well put!

Brad: You are right. Men are not materialistic. These things dont make us happy. But then, they make the women sad. This post has the wrong title. Smithy, please change it to - "Why women feel sad"
    :P

Second Apoorva on that. Article prolly good for a few laughs but doesnt prove any point.

Thank you for introducing yourself. I like your blogs (this one probably the most).

I like this post too. It's fun.
I didn't notice any declaration that all your posts have to be deeply meaningful so that they can be discussed on the balcony after three drinks too many. So Shashank may need a minor disclaimer ...

...u probably missed out the most painstaking part for men (which probably nullifies all their above mentioned merry lifestyle) - how to please a lady ?
  • ~Sen~ · 4 years ago
Seems your friends do know exactly what you'll like to have as forwards to your inbox.

Point 5 : now you know how to please this lady... don't you?

    XX:

Your gender seeks approval... it seeks it more than the male of the species.. and it seeks it almost all the time...

I'm not commenting on whether its awesome or pathetic.. but its true...

Whether its in a class at school or at work.. or in general among friends.. I see it all the time...
    A couple of examples..
    - take any class... whether they understand anything or not.. the girls are always nodding their heads.. VIGOROUSLY !!
    - women always want their "girlfriends'" approval about the guy they are dating or going to marry etc... you rarely ever see men doing the same..

I've been thinking about this for a while..
What is the reason for this ? Is it some deep-rooted insecurity ? Do they not possess the ability to stay happy "on their own" without anyone telling them.. that they're doing WELL ??!!

I meet a lot of so-called "feminists" nowadays.. now don get me wrong... I respect women immensely.. and I do appreciate their need to fight for injustice against women.. but its these self-proclaimed ones.. who find the "proclamation" more important than the fighting..
I dunno.. it seems like another bid for approval.. all over again ..

Am I making any sense ?

You do make sense. That's not to say I agree, however. Thanks for dropping by and next time, do leave your name behind.

    Hey idea...
Wasn't expecting a response frm you...

I comment as anon1 on a number of blogs (some of whom you link to...)..
I have more of an identity as "anon1" rather than my original blog-id...
I prefer to comment as such... Hope you understand...
