I see it all the time...
A couple of examples..
- take any class... whether they understand anything or not.. the girls are always nodding their heads.. VIGOROUSLY !!
- women always want their "girlfriends'" approval about the guy they are dating or going to marry etc... you rarely ever see men doing the same..

I've been thinking about this for a while..
What is the reason for this ? Is it some deep-rooted insecurity ? Do they not possess the ability to stay happy "on their own" without anyone telling them.. that they're doing WELL ??!!

I meet a lot of so-called "feminists" nowadays.. now don get me wrong... I respect women immensely.. and I do appreciate their need to fight for injustice against women.. but its these self-proclaimed ones.. who find the "proclamation" more important than the fighting..
I dunno.. it seems like another bid for approval.. all over again ..

Am I making any sense ?

-anon1

Re: Why men are happier

actually idea, except for the physiologically determined differences, as i dont wear makeup or buy stuff, most of those points could apply to an simple woman too! lol!

Re: Why men are happier

Seems your friends do know exactly what you'll like to have as forwards to your inbox.

Point 5 : now you know how to please this lady... don't you?

:D

Re: Why men are happier

...u probably missed out the most painstaking part for men (which probably nullifies all their above mentioned merry lifestyle) - how to please a lady ?

Re: Why men are happier

I'll consider that comment, one of the best compliments that my blogs have got!

Re: Why men are happier

J.A.P
Yes i think i might have missed the disclaimer.
will keep this in mind now on :)
"they can be discussed on the balcony after three drinks too many"

Re: Why men are happier

Thank you for introducing yourself. I like your blogs (this one probably the most).

I like this post too. It's fun.
I didn't notice any declaration that all your posts have to be deeply meaningful so that they can be discussed on the balcony after three drinks too many. So Shashank may need a minor disclaimer ...

J.A.P.

J. Men are not materialistic. These things dont make us happy. But then, they make the women sad. This post has the wrong title. Smithy, please change it to - "Why women feel sad"
:P

Re: Why men are happier

Oh Yeah? You think we're happier creatures? Think again.. our destiny is inextricably intertwined with those not-so-simple-and-never-really-happy-creatures.. Everything mentioned in this post is quite materialistic.
